In front of the door
This is a series of portraits of a wide variety of people on their doorsteps. The protagonists are literally standing on the threshold: not in public space but also not in their private homes. What awaits the viewer behind the door, where is this person going? Both can only be guessed at. Only the person himself, his clothes and his front door provide clues.
